places to snowboard that is in the mountains?
i am going on a senior trip with 4 other of my friends and we want to start planing our senior trip now. we will be going to chicago and mall of america. one other friend and i love to snowboard so we wanted to go snowboarding one or two days of our trip. what are some good ski resorts in southern minnesota, eastern south dakota, northern iowa, anywhere in Wisconsin, or the upper pennunsilua of michigan? they would need to be open during the first week of april it cause we would be going during spring break. also we would like it if the resort was in the mountains and big. no smaller than like jackson hole wyoming and feels like we are out west like utah or colorado or something like that. also it needs to have LOTS of powder if possible. THANKS SOOO MUCH for your help!!!!
ok well what about east like in vermont or new york? is there ski resorts open there in april like sugarbrush or somewhere?
good luck finding pow in any area your going to be in even in middle of season your not going to see pow like out west. We are lucky out here in Colorado we can get pow days in May but that because we are 10,000ft++++ above sea level
