TELE SKIERS AND free riders, HELP ON THE PURCHASE right ski!?
OK, my main question is this what is the best ski travel great long backcountry / Mountaineering trips? I Ski K2 Silencers Powderbirds Rossi and I'm a wider use of skiing. I think I've narrowed it down to this list; BD-Verdict Dynafit Manaslu-K2 Anti-Piste Ross Volkl Gotama Altibird Janak Pro-atomic-can someone give me advice on picking the right ski?
BD-Verdict: Good for skiing backcountry for sure. Like many comics skis are lightweight and have a nice blazing response. Now that BD is a lot of technology from the former Crossbows All skis is, almost everyone I've tried seem the same except for how lean you need to get on the board. Unfortunately, I live in the pow-East and the department is not at all common. When I tried this it was only a few inches of fresh, so I am not entitled to a day tryout great. Having skied the ravages many who are much thinner, but they have essentially the same construction, and a number of other BD skis too, I'd say this is a very good choice. The verdicts were mounted, I tried to BD 01s. Plenty of power, but I think I still like the best 03:. K2 Anti Piste The big brother of my beloved Stinx work. I skied on the Antis few times in some of the deeper things and to be honest, I did not see much difference between them and the Stinx work. In all honesty, I weigh 270 fully dressed and roll 181s. My Big Butt sink to the bottom, regardless of the width of the ski. A few weeks ago I came across a cat that was skiing on Coombs mounted with Rottefella Cobra 8s. He said he tried to Antis well and could not tell the difference between the two skis. They have the same dimensions and almost the same construction. If you must make a choice based on price, keep an eye on all K2 skis K2 because Telemark line is down the Telemark specific line for 09-10 and you may be a bargain snake on the Anti-Piste simply because it can go. (Something I said that the Coomba is the only fat-K2 ski for next season.) Atomic Janak Bro-: I never really cared Atomic Tele / AT line. I always find it a little stiffer Atomics and therefore faster. This does not always work well in the trees or throwing sharp, fast turn on the TV slopes. I will not say that these are bad skis … far from it. However, I would take the verdict or the fight against the track before I'd take it Janek Bro. The Altibirds are almost the same as Sickbird and an older model and much thinner than others on your list. I skied these a few years ago, on the slopes. It is a good ski for the Middle or groomers, but not a real pow ski, in my opinion. I have not had the opportunity to try the others on your list. I could try the Volkl if other at one demos I was not monopolize them. Hope this helps a little. Good Luck!
