I'm a Kiwi, want to go to Canada?
Ok, I'm about to graduate with degrees in accounting and finance University of Otago. I was at the origin of the best ski destination in New Zealand so naturally I began a passion for it and would like to live somewhere in Canada where I can find a good job and live close enough to the mountain for skiing weekends. Vancouver is the air whistler with very attractive now so close. Do I need a guaranteed employment in Canada to be allowed to? I read that it takes 3-5 years to do all the paperwork, it does mean that I can not move until after that? Or thats just when everything is processed. Thank you
hello kiwi, you know, Canada is a bit difficult. sorry to say but at the port of entry that you will need to lie. they have programs available, but emigration is so stupid … Coming to Canada as a tourist and tell them you'll have vacation only. skiing, hiking to do something as well. when Canada, find a job. they can convert your tourist status to workers in Canada. but for this you need a job offer. and later, you Need LMO from Service Canada. which could take 5 days to 5 months, depending on the occupation. search for information on the net. when you LMO, go to the U.S. for a day, and on the eay back to Canada, you LMOs this document under the Canadian immigration officer and ask to issue * work permit. he will do it for you. Or you can stay at home and send your LMO Vegreville. They will issue your work permit within 30 days. Now therefore know all the basic information.
