What do you wear in Aspen/Snowmass, CO in the winter?
I am from Los Angeles, CA (born & raised) and don’t really have any winter clothes…What should I pack for a 4 day trip to a ski resort?
I’m assuming you’re going while it’s winter, so you’ll definitely need a big bag. It’s going to be super cold so make sure you bring these:
- A hat or some sort (warmer than a baseball gap)
- Gloves (1 pair for skiing, the other for casual wear)
- Head bands that cover your ears
- scarves
- ski jacket
- pair of ski pants
- thermal undies, or long johns (so good in cold weather)
- thick socks
- large coat
- Long sleeved shirts
- cardigans and sweaters
- pants (jeans and sweats)
- Closed toed shoes (snow boots are essential)
Also if you’re skiing, don’t forget:
- Goggles
- Sunglasses
- Sunblock/chapstick
- Optional: face mask, and neck warmer
