Skiing in Soll, Austria?

Okay so my family and I live in the UK and we are going skiing to Soll in Austria in February. We have booked the holiday through Crystal through the internet and we got a ‘First time ski pack’. It says on the website that this includes ski gear, lessons and lift passes. My question is though are the lift passes beginners only? It does not say so on the website but maybe they are. Does ‘beginners lift pass’ mean that I can only go on green slopes? I do not want this because I know that after a few days my family and I will be able for the red slopes.

I hope someone can help me
Thanks!

I worked for a tour operator last season, directski, who are similar to crystal, so I hope I can answer your question honestly.

I worked in Val Thorens, France – we also had a beginners pass. The bad news is that it does only give limited access to the mountain – mainly greens and blues. You’ll be lucky if it covers any red runs.

However, you’ll be able to upgrade to a full pass in resort. When you arrive at the airport your crystal rep should be able to fill you in on how to do this, and they *should* sort it out for you – it’s their job to.

Perhaps you should contact crystal and try to exchange it for a family pass (discounted rates)??

By the way, Soll is a beautiful resort – with great skiing. Good choice.
