Calves may have trouble skiing?
I tried skiing for the first time today, and I liked … for when I could do. I do not fall at all, but I did not ski too. However, I had great difficulty doing "pizza" and I could not turn my ankles at all. I think it could have been caused by the boots do not fit very well because I big calves. My heels could not touch the bottom of the shoe, even if I wore a size 13 shoe when I wear size 11 …. I had the shoe loose as it could while being safe. After just over an hour, my feet were so bad and my feet were numb okay. Is it because of my calves?
This could be a number of things. Generally badly good rental boots and putting on a bunch more really will not make much difference. Keep the boots in bulk was actually one of the things you could do worse. You really have BIG calves do not allow your heel to touch the bottom of the shoe, if so you will need to get your own boots that are fitted for you. I guess you never had a foot in the boot well to begin with. Loosening of the shoe is permitted only for your foot to roll forward and has therefore been the cause of the pain even more. Other things also tend to contribute to poor fitting boots with new skiers. People often tuck their pants, their pants snow, socks that are inside, wear two pairs of socks, wear socks that are too thick, do not manage to get the boot set by the rental shop, and a host of other things that contribute to poor fitness and pain and numbness. I really too big calves, but did not wear a boot hire nearly 20 years. I have not had much trouble then, and my legs are not much more small. The rental boots have not changed much since then either, the next time you try a few pairs of boots and ask someone to the rental shop for some help, maybe they can see what is causing your discomfort.
